200 one Dollar bills were auctioned for $43.8m (ok they were painted by Andy Warhol) and a gold ring containing a lock of Napoleon's hair sold for $68,000.

I'm sure AW would have been amused
I heard that a lock of Elvis' hair was up for sale too recently. I would love a lock of Lord Nelson's hair, though could certainly not afford it. How are these locks obtained, I wonder.
