There's an announcement this afternoon that Whistler's doing an IPO. Quick as a flash, my colleague remarked, "Their performance is clearly going downhill fast. They're on the skids!"

Groans all round! A much better one was made last night at the DECAID launch ( www.decaid.co.uk) when the Chief executive of BLESMA ( British Limbless ex Seviceman's association) as he mentioned his own amputation below the knee.
" We in BLESMA have a pretty dark humour. My own disability ( Northern Ireland) is referred to as a mere flesh wound..."
PS Decaid is to remember 10 years of British Troops losing their lives, limbs and minds in Afghanistan.....
