Strange but true. They are probably from Colonial Williamsburg and they show the lifestyle before the ouster of the King. Our family were in a reenactment group for about 10 years and I made my husband a red coat and he wore a kilt. Love a guy in a kilt Also strange that as soon as we became the USA we were inviting all kinds of royalty over for a visit.
