How do you like David Hockney's interpretation of Claude Lorrain's 1656 painting?

Is that a large swimming pool in the background ?
I liked his polaroid photo collages in the early 80's but not sure about this one.
LOL Angus - maybe the mount is a high diving board?
Salut ED - it's a huge painting and this reproduction doesn't do it justice
