Beautiful photo, WW. There is a forest near Brussels with bluebells. Some 25km away. Recently gangs have been stealing the flowers to sell them on markets.
WW- no they are merely differently shaped. English people assume all bluebells are the same, but actuallyy they are not. It is said that when the Argylls marched into battle at, I think , one of the Ypres they wore a Scottish Bluebell in their caps. How someone managed to get a thousand or so flowers to the front line is not mentioned....

awww lovely! Those of course will be ENGLISH Bluebells, which are different from Scottish.....

I haven't seen a Scottish bluebell, KL. Don't tell me it's a sort of blue tartan colour?
