Quotation for Sunday

"I could a tale unfold, whose lightest word would harrow up thy soul, freeze thy young blood, make thy two eyes, like stars, start from their spheres, thy knotted and combined locks to part and each particular hair to stand on end, like quills upon the fretful porpentine."

There are those who argue that Hamlet is Shakespeare's greatest play.
To me,it is a toss up between the Tempest, with all it's mystery and magic, and, of course, my own play, Kinglear.
That said, the words in Hamlet (you highlight some of them) are of a beauty and luminescence that transcends mere entertainment.
