The last day

I said to my father this morning, "It's the last day!"
"What do you mean?" he asked, looking rather alarmed.
"The last day of being 91!"
In his birthday card (which he didn't save until the day...) his sister wrote, "92 not out!"
Meanwhile the mother of some friends of ours in Winchester is a fit 105 year old!

Congratulations to WW senior.
I have a great aunt who is 100 and another 103. One on my father's side and one on my mother's side. So it looks hopeful for me!

Merci ED and best wishes for a long life.

My aunt has an elephantine memory but my father's memory has deteriorated a lot. They speak on the phone every week and my aunt reminds him of all the details of their childhood. My father's forgotten the names of all their pets, childhood friends etc. We keep begging my aunt to write a family history
