Last night I tasted my first 2013 wine and it was excellent. Have you tried Sir George Fistonich's Villa Maria Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand? It's a bargain at £5.20 a bottle in Tesco's sale!
Poor Angus. Where do you live? Darkest, bone dry Saudi perhaps. Should we have a whip round to send him some NZ wines (and never overlook the superb wines of Chile). I rather fancy the motto of the Firkin Brewery - 'Bibendum ad Mortem.'

New Zealand wines a rarity if not unheard of here. Do you remember Cloudy Bay ?
HIC!
Yes I still drink it, Angus. What a shame you can't get NZ wines there!
Cheers, KL!

He's in France!
Mr Eurodog et moi spent 7 weeks in NZ and sampled ALL the NZ wines. They are excellent. Of course the French see things a little different.
Sante Mr Eurodog!
