I have an LV suitcase. It is completely impractical and almost impossible to lift even when empty. The only time it could be used would be when driving somewhere and where a porter or bell boy is going to carry it. On the plus side, even the most profligate packer would KNOW there was enough room for everything in their wardrobe. I keep wanting to sell it ( I'm reliable informed it would go for well in excess of £1000) but 2 out of my 3 daughters fondly imagine I'm going to leave it to them in my will. The third couldn't care less ( bit of a hippy, but the only one actually married) And no I didn't buy it. I exercised landlord's hypotheque when a tenant defaulted on the rent.....
