Australian humour

This Australian blogging idea is not an easy as I thought it would be as there's no internet connection where I'm staying. Anyway, I met a man last night who'd been in the same form at school as Barry Humphries, whom he described as "a real sis." During the Melbourne University rag week, some men were digging up the tram line outside their school. Barry Humphries approached these men and said that if their work was interrupted by the police, they should ignore them as they were just university students dressing up as policemen. He then rang the police and said that some university students were pretending to be workmen and digging up the tram rails outside the school.

WW- you probably know why Barry was banned from using Qantas, but it bears repetition.
Many years ago, long before he was seriously famous ( only mildly famous) he took a flight from ( I think) Sydney to London - in economy.
After the meal was served, he began retching and coughing, grabbed a sick-bag and very noisily appeared to fill it.
After a few minutes of regaining composure, he opened the bag and looked in. He closed it. He opened it again, stuck his finger in and poked about a bit. He closed it again.
By now, all the adjacent seats and those in front and behind him were staring at him.A stewardess was hovering.
He opened the bag again, put his hand in and pulled out a reddish-yellow thingy which he put in his mouth and chewed. He shut the bag again.
After a few moments, he opened it again, and continued to do this until the captain was called down and he was segregated.
Of course, what he had done was bring his own sick bag onboard with some suitably ghastly looking stuff in it, but I'm afraid that didn't stop Qantas from banning him.
