And thou shalt have roses in December
There are still five roses out in my garden and I hope they will survive until Advent. Do you know this poem by Robert Frost?
The rose is a rose,
And was always a rose.
But now the theory goes
That the apple's a rose,
And the pear is, and so's
The plum, I suppose.
The dear only knows
What will next prove a rose.
You, of course, are a rose
But were always a rose.

My favourite lines of Robert Frost are:
Forgive, O Lord, my little jokes on Thee
And I'll forgive Thy great big one on me.
Lovely poem - most romantic
Hi KL - those wedding bells have put you in a romantic mood!
Hello Mr Eurodog, hope all's well with you. I must say Mme's new photo on her blog is quite charming. I didn't know those lines of Frost - very good!
