If you are going to Antakya (Antioch) do not miss the Roman mosaics. The signora and I went there and onwards to Aleppo. Sad! We decided to keep Damascus for our next visit. Unlikely now.
How wonderful. There is a wonderful piece of Anglican architecture - The Crimean Memorial - next to the Galata Tower which is worth visiting if only for the fact that no one else goes there.
I hope you went to have a look at this - great fun!
